"Surrendering To The Miracle"

I found another inspiring article online. It made me feel better to read about others who have overcome adversity when they felt as if there were no hope and that is what this article has given me - hope!

Basically what it says is that when things and situations seem to overwhelm you, the thing to do is to take your mind off of it and do something completely different.

What is it that brings you joy? For me its being able to work from home.

The name of the article is called:

Surrender To The Miracle

It's a good article to read and I hope that it helps you if you are going through some bad times like me.

Should You Be Realistic About Your Goals?

I really do have to admit that I have some really big goals! Some might even think that they are impossible goals but to me, a goal is a goal!

I found this very inspiring blog post about whether or not you should be realistic about your goals and in a word the article said no!

Which I'm glad that it did say this because now I don't have to feel so guilty about thinking that my goals might be too unrealistic.

I am a very big fan of the law of attraction and have seen it work in my life and I'm trying to become a master at it and it's good to know that you can have any goal that you want. So if you think that your goal(s) might be unrealistic, then you should definitely read this blog post!

From Homeless To Being A Millionaire!

It's always good to find inspirational stories about people who are able to make it through life.

I found a very inspiring online article about a man who was homeless but who went on to become a millionaire!

It's a very inspiring story because this person's past included drug addiction, and being in trouble with the law but he still managed to become a millionaire (which is something that I also aspire to).

It also has some sad parts to it too including people who take advantage of you and about losing your faith and getting it back again.

It also shows why he thought that even though this was a terrible time in his life he thought that it was the best possible thing that could have happened to him.

The "Impossible" Just May Be Possible!

"
Time and time again, if you look at history, people who have produced phenomenal results are those that have set goals that everyone else thought was unrealistic and even crazy.

So hopefully this will mean that the goal(s) that I have set are not as impossible as I might think!

Gratitude!

I was feeling kind of depressed today and I saw this online article about expressing gratitude so that is what I decided to do today.

The article says (and I agree) that one should start a gratitude journal and that is what I decided to do and I'm going to use this blog to do it! So here is my gratitude list for today!

  • I am grateful to be able to work from home. I have not earned a lot of money yet but I am going to!

I have my Google Adsense ads and that has earned me some money and I am very grateful for that! Bigger and better things are coming my way!

  • I am grateful for my house! Yes there are some bills that are causing me a great deal of stress but I can't let that get the best of me! There are people who are in a much more bigger financial problems than me.

  • I am grateful for the food that I had for dinner tonight and I am grateful for the food that is still left in my refridgerator. (I'm also grateful that I have a refridgerator that works!) I have chicken and pork chops and hot dogs in my freezer, not to mention bread, beans, potatoes, onions and pasta - Yum!

  • I'm grateful that it is warm inside of my house. I have blogged before about the government grants that I got to help pay my heating bills and without that grant money I would be in bad shape today!

  • I am also grateful for the skills and talents that I have now! I was reading an article about praying for a financial miracle and the article basically said that instead of just doing nothing that you should take the talents and skills that you do have and make them work for you! And that is what I am doing. It gets hard sometimes and I get depressed and frustrated at times but all that I hear is to keep going and to never give up!

That is my gratitude list for today.

If you are feeling depressed or frustrated start a gratitude journal and write down 5 things that you are grateful for! It will help you to feel much, much better about your life!

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings......

Someone mentioned a quote from Maya Angelou's Book "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and it made me remember watching the movie on television. It took me a while to actually get the meaning of the title but once I did it made me both sad and happy at the same time! It's actually a very provocative thought when you think about it - at least it is for me!

No matter what one's situation is there just maybe something that one can smile and sing about!

I think about my own situation and realize that there are those that are far more worse off than me. There are many people having more financial difficulty than me, people who don't have food to eat or who don't have any (or enough) money to even pay for food.............

Tiger Woods is in the news about the transgressions that he has admitted to and all I could think of is that there are far more worse problems in the news today and going on in peoples' lives!

It's a windy and rainy night and here I am in my nice warm house and I just ate some dinner. I'll be going to the grocery store tomorrow to buy some more food that I will be able to pay for.

I am very grateful that my childhood was not as traumatic as Maya Angelou's was and the fact that she could rise above the things that have happened to her in her early years just makes me appreciate my life that much more!

Gratitude!

I found a very inspiring article online about gratitude so I have decided to list some of the things that I am grateful for. (If I listed all of the things that I have to be grateful for I think I would tire myself out because I think that this list would be endless!

Here are 5 things that I am grateful for!

  • I managed to get my home off of a pending foreclosure sale!
Boy was that scary! My house was scheduled to be foreclosed on this month and I was just worrying myself sick! Like all the advice has said I decided to take action and turn my fear into curiosity and I called around to find out what I could do to get my home out of foreclosure! The money that was due was for property tax foreclosure and I was hearing stories from my neighbors that you either had to pay up or lose your home to foreclosure! I called around and found out (to make a long story short) that I could make payment arrangements to pay the property taxes in installments and that is what I am in the process of doing now!

Do you know how GOOD it feels to get your house out of foreclosure!

  • I had popcorn (and watched a movie) for dinner tonight! Don't get me wrong I do have some other food in my kitchen but tonight I just felt like having some popcorn and watching a movie.

There have been times when I had no food to eat so I am very grateful for the food that I do have!

  • I am very grateful for my home! My next door neighbor had a fire scare and the firemen were there and there seems to be a lot of inside damage to their house and I know that getting it repaired is going to cost them a lot of money! I already know that they have contractors working on their home now.

  • I am very grateful that I have a computer at home and am able to be online! I know that there are some that don't even have a computer in their home and I was reminded of this when I saw some people at the library. Having my own computer at home means that I can work on it any time of the day and night!

  • I'm very grateful for my family. My parents have passed on but I still have my brother and we talk a lot on the phone.

So there is a partial of my gratitude list.

So what are YOU grateful for today?

Thank You God! Another Small Miracle Has Occurred!

I am oh so very grateful today!

I got a notice of a water shut-off on Wednesday and yesterday I got the good news that I was to be given a small grant to help towards making a payment! This payment will suspend my shut off notice!

This wasn't a government grant though. The money / grant that I got was from a small organization that helps with small payments towards one's utility bill. I found them in the yellow pages!

All I had to do was fax them a copy of my shut-off notice - which I did. The shut off notice was reviewed by them and I got the call yesterday that they contacted my water company and made arrangements with them and that they will be sending a payment to them!

Now this doesn't get me off the hook for the total amount due of the water bill. The organization paid a portion which was just enough to stop them shutting off my water! And for this I am very grateful to that organization!

I am now on a payment plan with my water company!

So I hope this goes to show those who may be in a similar situation that miracles do come true and they do happen!

Hope!

"

Hope is the physician

of each misery

"

Have you ever felt really bad?

I came upon this quote in my email today and I thought that I would pass it along to you! So many people are feeling so terrible, bad, depressed and frustrated - and that includes me too! - that sometimes one doesn't know where to turn!

I interpret the above quote to mean that no matter how bad one is feeling that one should always feel hope!

"

With God

All Things Are Possible!

"

I was listening to a speech by Dr. Wayne Dyer and the above is what he said!

What it means to me is exactly what it says which is "All things are possible!"

No matter what it is that you are going through please remember that there is hope! I have read and seen on tv about the many miracles that have been happening around the world! It's not just bad news out there but some good ones too! Like the woman who was able to stop the foreclosure of her home because she put up a web site and got enough in donations to save her home from foreclosure! I believe that one can classify that as a miracle!

So no matter what it is you are going through, please remember not to give up hope!

Very good advice indeed! And one that I should remember myself!

Do What You Love...................

I found another inspiring article about doing what you love to do!

This is something that I firmly believe myself!

Although it is hard and sometimes frustrating, I realize that I have to continue to go on! Keep the faith. Never give up!

I love working on my computer but it can be frustrating at times because I haven't manifested the kind of wealth that I want - YET - but I haven't given up and I continue to do what I love - which is working on the computer!

I have managed to make some money online using Google's Adsense program and it is something that I firmly suggest to others if you want to be able to make money online. If you want to know more about Google's Adsense program, just click here.

So I am continuing to do what I love. I am continuing to keep the faith and I will continue to not give up!

"As A Man Thinketh"

If you notice on the side of my blog is my mission station and my mission statement is to be a

MILLIONAIRE

and live off of the interest!

Here is a link to a free download of the publication "As A Man Thinketh"

I got the link from a very interesting blog that talks a lot about the law of attraction!

Is it possible to become a millionaire in a short (and I mean a real short) amount of time? The answer seems to be that it is possible and that you are only limited by the limiting thoughts that you have!
